Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components according to established architectural patterns.

• Automate repetitive tasks related to provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operations.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and records of changes.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Build, secure, automate, and manage cloud or enterprise infrastructure and platforms.

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle of reliable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience as outlined in the job overview.

• Typically, at least 8 years in a relevant professional role; the exact requirement must align with the approved requisition.

• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations pertinent to the position.

• Hands-on expertise with specific cloud platforms, operating systems, container technologies, or automation tools.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code methodologies.

• Capable of methodically troubleshooting infrastructure and production issues.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.

• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training are desirable.
