Cloud Application, AI Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance and fortify the security of Zoetis’ Azure and AWS cloud environments.

• Implement cloud security protocols across architecture, infrastructure, and applications.

• Assist in application security and vulnerability management processes, including SAST, DAST, and SSPM.

• Advocate for secure identity and access management practices, emphasizing least-privilege access and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Facilitate security evaluations for new AI projects and ensure that necessary safeguards are identified and enacted.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, privacy, risk, compliance, and business teams.

• Identify and convey security risks, recommendations, and technical requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Contribute to cloud security evaluations, risk assessments, security standards, threat modeling, and cross-departmental security initiatives.

• Provide technical guidance and risk-focused recommendations throughout the design, implementation, and ongoing support of security solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT, information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or CISSP are highly preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a matrixed organization.

• Ability to operate across technical and business teams.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

• Experience in supporting cloud security solutions in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID security and administration, including application registrations, enterprise applications, service principals, API permissions, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, admin consent, credential management, access reviews, and least-privilege practices.

• Experience with scripting, automation, or infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.

• Familiarity with CSPM, CIEM, SAST, DAST, SIEM, and cloud-native security monitoring.

• Experience with DevOps and cloud deployment tools or processes such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience contributing to cloud security reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, security standards, vulnerability management, or cross-functional security initiatives.

• Awareness of security considerations for AI, machine learning, or generative AI.
