This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +38 more states.
• Oversee the coordination of mortgage loan closings alongside loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Organize closing schedules and ensure that all participants are adequately prepared.
• Draft promissory notes, deeds of trust, and other necessary loan documentation.
• Examine loan packages to verify their accuracy and completeness.
• Confirm that documents adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry norms.
• Review closing packages and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items.
• Facilitate funding and disbursement after ensuring all closing conditions are met.
• Deliver customer service to borrowers and internal teams.
• Address questions, provide clarifications, and resolve any issues related to closing.
• Maintain precise and organized records of loan transactions.
• Identify and enact process enhancements, efficient workflows, and best practices.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); OR an associate degree with two (2) years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus four (4) years of pertinent experience.
• One additional year of progressive experience in the relevant field.
• Familiarity with mortgage loan products and documentation necessities.
• Understanding of compliance regulations that govern mortgage lending and loan processing.
• Proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS), document management software, and the MS Office Suite.
• Possess professional judgment and provide customer-focused responses.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills for spotting errors, discrepancies, and potential risks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to make significant contributions to processes and systems.
• Capacity to think creatively and prioritize tasks and decisions efficiently.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the employer's authorized states.
