Clinical Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, coordinate, and implement clinical training programs across both new and established health center locations.

• Provide structured orientation sessions for Medical Assistants, clinical personnel, and Providers.

• Facilitate on-site and virtual training for new clinic launches, which includes workflow simulation and go-live assistance.

• Create and revise training materials, job aids, checklists, and educational tools based on policies.

• Collaborate with Area Managers, Clinical Leaders, and Operations to evaluate training requirements.

• Lead mock clinics, practical skills training, and real-time coaching during and after the launch of new health centers.

• Perform chart audits and clinical quality assessments to identify trends and offer targeted remediation.

• Act as a subject matter expert for EMR workflows, clinical processes, documentation, and best practices.

• Monitor training participation and validate competency alongside the Training Coordinator.

• Keep updated with clinical practice guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

• Contribute to clinical onboarding plans for new employees.

• Assist in training initiatives aimed at quality improvement, patient experience, and EMR updates.

• Offer peer coaching, mentorship, and support to new or developing members of the clinical team.

• Help in formulating and executing training strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Travel to various health center locations as required, estimated at 50%–75% of the time.

• Adapt to an irregular work schedule that may vary weekly and monthly based on travel requirements.

• Be available to work some weekends and occasional holidays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or a related allied health profession (e.g., MA, RT, LPN, RN).

• Current BLS/AED Certification.

• Child Clearance - Act 33.

• Criminal Clearance - Act 38.

• FBI Clearance - Act 73.

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical role within primary care, urgent care, or similar outpatient environments.

• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in formal training delivery.

• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities catering to diverse adult learning styles.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and provide constructive feedback.

• Proficient in EMR workflows, clinical documentation, and chart auditing.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities across various locations.

• A collaborative attitude with a talent for fostering positive working relationships with clinical and operational teams.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities.

• Capability to sit, stand, walk, and move freely within clinical environments.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

• Willingness to travel between clinic sites, including overnight stays.

• Extended periods of working on a computer.
