This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver exceptional behavioral healthcare services via telehealth platforms.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions on a one-on-one basis.
• Perform psychological and biopsychosocial assessments along with evaluations.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Track and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, medical doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Execute suicide risk assessments within designated timeframes and consult with clinical leaders.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to assess length of stay and care level.
• Identify community resources for both treatment and aftercare planning.
• Comply with established group curricula and treatment planning protocols.
• Inform clients and their families about mental health and behavioral concerns.
• Attend weekly clinical supervision meetings equipped with client updates, case formulations, and inquiries.
• Uphold confidentiality, ethical, professional, and legal standards.
• Remain informed on the latest research and advancements in behavioral therapy and mental health.
• Support Guidelight Health's mission, vision, and values.
• Report directly to the Director of Telehealth.
• Must possess an independent therapist license in Massachusetts.
• Hold a Master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.
• Valid Massachusetts independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, or an equivalent credential.
• Willingness and capability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Proven experience in delivering behavioral therapy, counseling, and group therapy.
• Proficient in effectively managing clients in virtual environments and tailoring interventions for telehealth.
• Comfortable and skilled in using HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn best practices in telehealth, including crisis response and safety planning in a remote context.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining close connections with a distributed virtual team.
• Dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive virtual group environment.
• If eligible, willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians.
• Availability for a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• A minimum of three years' experience post-independent licensure is highly preferred, although not mandatory.
• Experience in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) settings is preferred.
