This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Provide support for Ear, Nose, and Throat therapies by offering surgical coverage, follow-up assistance, troubleshooting, customer service, and education.
• Act as a representative for Medtronic during surgical procedures, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and products.
• Assist in the selection, programming, implantation, and testing of device systems.
• Deliver clinical support during surgical procedures and follow-ups in both hospitals and clinics.
• Address technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of competitive products.
• Educate and train physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel on products and therapies.
• Support Management and Sales Training in onboarding new district employees.
• Complete required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic's technology tools.
• Place orders for pending purchase orders and product replacements, and collect purchase orders for covered cases.
• Manage the inventory supplied for case coverage.
• Contribute to quarterly objectives for district and national initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to meet territory and district business objectives, documenting quarterly activities.
• Visit accounts to replenish literature and nurture relationships with office staff.
• Utilize mobile phone, iPad, and PC tools effectively.
• Oversee personal expenses and budget management.
• Adhere to quality policies, work procedures, and quality system requirements.
• Travel to multiple accounts throughout the Central Pennsylvania territory.
• High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy are required.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the entirety of employment.
• Capability to serve as the primary resource for both scheduled and unscheduled clinical events.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, nights, and travel overnight when necessary.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to attend national meetings, district meetings, and training sessions.
• Capacity to wear a 7–9 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day.
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and balancing are required.
• Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.
• Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
