Clinical Specialist

📋 Description

• Implement the clinical business strategy for Medication Delivery Solutions, focusing on value-added services.

• Launch clinical programs and initiatives that distinguish the MDS product range by enhancing clinical outcomes and streamlining processes.

• Strengthen the credibility of customer recommendations and enhance service and support.

• Participate in conversion management, product rollout, and training related to Medication Delivery Solutions products.

• Work alongside the Regional Team to ensure effective clinical sales and conversion management from pre-validation to retention.

• Establish relationships with end-users while providing product in-servicing and clinical education.

• Lead customer training sessions aimed at the conversion or retention of essential clients.

• Collaborate with the Sales Team during key account management strategy discussions.

• Oversee per diem nursing staff.

• Train and mentor contract nursing personnel, identifying high-potential nurses for Clinical Specialist positions.

• Perform VAM assessments to support Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales initiatives.

• Provide the Clinical Manager with monthly updates regarding regional training activities and support.

• Attend trade shows to showcase product offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates should be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico (preferred) or El Paso, Texas.

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing and current Registered Nurse status is required.

• At least five (5) years of general clinical experience is necessary.

• Three (3) years of practical experience in ultrasound for vascular access device insertion is mandatory.

• A solid understanding of infusion therapy, vascular access, and the key disease states served by MDS products is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% for initial and ongoing training sessions.

• A valid state-issued driver's license with a minimum of three years of continuous driving history is required.

• Must comply with BD's auto safety standards.

• Proven training abilities are preferred.
