This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote the use of diagnostic testing by effectively conveying its clinical and economic benefits to targeted healthcare practitioners and markets.
• Implement territory strategies to meet and surpass sales targets while increasing market presence.
• Provide education and training for medical office personnel on test ordering processes and the interpretation of results.
• Develop customized, innovative, and scalable solutions tailored to the needs of each account.
• Collaborate with laboratory teams to pinpoint high-value prospects and arrange meetings for product demonstrations.
• Take ownership of territory performance, encompassing account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking outcomes.
• Work together with Business Development Executives to facilitate the implementation of large health system initiatives and strategic projects.
• Formulate and execute strategic sales plans.
• Cultivate and manage key account relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction through consultative selling techniques.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions and meet sales objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor by serving customers through both in-person visits and virtual interactions.
• A bachelor's degree is necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in laboratory sales, scientific, or healthcare fields, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven track record in medical sales, B2B technical sales, or military service.
• Ability to establish and nurture customer relationships across all levels.
• Technical proficiency and capability to grasp customer applications and workflows.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Proven success in meeting sales targets.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt rapidly.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as MS Teams and Webex.
• Must reside within the designated territory or within a reasonable commuting distance to a major metropolitan area.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight trips.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Capability to pass a thorough background check, including a drug screening.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms is preferred.
