This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.
• Secure new business and promote the adoption of Butterfly's point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) platform among nursing teams in hospitals and health systems.
• Build and maintain trust with nurses, nurse executives, clinical leaders, educators, professional associations, and healthcare organizations.
• Represent the company at nursing and healthcare conferences, association meetings, roundtables, and industry events.
• Foster relationships with influential nursing leaders and create a network of clinical champions.
• Track emerging trends in nursing practice, workforce challenges, clinical technology, care delivery, and healthcare policy.
• Bring insights from the nursing community into product, marketing, sales, and strategic decisions.
• Engage in professional organizations and develop relationships with national and regional nursing associations.
• Seek opportunities for speaking engagements, panel moderation, advisory boards, thought leadership, and industry discussions.
• Own and meet an individual sales quota for the assigned region, including acquiring new clients and expanding within existing accounts.
• Build and manage a pipeline of nursing and hospital prospects; lead deals through negotiation and closing.
• Act as a clinical and product expert, providing hands-on POCUS demonstrations for bladder scanning and vascular access applications.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, regional vice presidents, and account teams to engage and close nursing stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Establish relationships with bedside nurses, nursing leadership, and clinical education teams to drive evaluations, trials, and purchases.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and field and competitive feedback.
• Travel up to 75% within the assigned region.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unrestricted nursing license and an RN degree (ADN, BSN, or higher).
• Experience practicing as an RN in a clinical bedside or clinical education setting within the last 5 years.
• Documented success in consistently meeting or exceeding a sales quota, closing new business, and acquiring new customers.
• Comfortable presenting to and establishing rapport with nursing and clinical audiences, including conducting hands-on product demonstrations that lead to sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling abilities.
• Capability to independently manage a full sales cycle.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% within the assigned region.
• Must be located near a major airport hub within the assigned region.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in one of the eligible states listed.
• Ideally: current RN clinical practice, experience with bladder scan and/or vascular access ultrasound-guided placement, and experience in medical device or capital equipment sales.
