Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD/PsyD, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual environment.

• Create tailored treatment plans for each individual patient.

• Operate independently while being part of a cooperative and supportive care team.

• Handle documentation through streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools.

• Engage in regular paid case consultation sessions.

• Develop a caseload based on matched patients and clinician availability.

• Offer therapy focused on grief, loss, isolation, and transitions in later life.

• Contribute to Sailor Health’s mission of enhancing aging through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution.

• A valid, independent license to practice psychology in Arizona.

• Preferably, experience working with older adults or geriatric populations.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is an advantage.

• Must be prepared to conduct at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.

• 1099 opportunity begins at 15 hours per week; W2 opportunity starts at 25 hours per week.

• Must provide a mental health license type and number.

• Must specify the states where licensed; PSYPACT entry is possible with a valid APIT license and E.Passport link.
