Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD/PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults through virtual platforms.

• Create customized treatment plans tailored to each patient.

• Operate independently while being part of a collaborative care team.

• Utilize EMR and AI documentation tools for managing patient documentation.

• Engage in regular paid case consultations.

• Establish availability and develop a caseload with appropriately matched patients.

• Offer support for patients dealing with grief, loss, isolation, and transitions in late life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) obtained from an APA-accredited program.

• Possess an active, independent license to practice psychology in Alabama.

• Prior experience with older adults or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Experience with Medicare billing is an advantage.

• Commitment to conducting at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.

• Qualification as a licensed clinical psychologist is required.

• Must provide the type and number of mental health license.

• Must specify the states where licensed; valid APIT license and E.Passport link may be utilized for PSYPACT.
