Clinical Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual individual and group counseling sessions for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.

• Create and document detailed treatment plans tailored to patient requirements.

• Engage with TRICARE/DoD beneficiaries and offer guidance on TRICARE benefits and requirements.

• Prepare and uphold medical records and documentation in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Provide recommendations regarding hospitalization and evaluate fitness for duty.

• Participate in staff meetings to discuss cases, engage in educational activities, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

• Meet credentialing standards and obtain as well as maintain clinical privileges.

• Acquire and keep up Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Complete a two-week training course prior to commencing telework.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited institution or professional school.

• Successful completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Psychologist utilizing virtual platforms for evaluations, treatment plans, and psychotherapy.

• Possess a current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice psychology independently.

• Meet credentialing standards and obtain as well as maintain clinical privileges.

• Acquire and sustain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Preferred experience using virtual platforms within the military healthcare system.

• Acceptable virtual health experience outside the military healthcare system.

• Complete a two-week training course prior to starting telework.

• Provide at least two professional references alongside the resume.
