This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Establish and nurture clinical/scientific relationships with Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate and promote Neurocrine’s scientific stance in accordance with the Medical Affairs strategy.
• Facilitate educational outreach focusing on disease-state pathophysiology, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment alternatives.
• Direct educational outreach efforts towards Community Mental Health Centers, Long Term Care facilities, and skilled nursing establishments.
• Develop and uphold clinical/scientific integrity with local, regional, and national advanced practice Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare providers (HCPs).
• Recognize knowledge deficits across various clinical practice environments and provider categories.
• Provide education on disease states, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment areas consistent with Medical Affairs’ scientific narrative.
• Collaborate with national and state professional organizations to enhance education.
• Stay updated on literature and research within the therapeutic domain.
• Identify and propose research opportunities and project locations.
• Act as a scientific resource and trainer for Neurocrine's internal teams.
• Work alongside cross-functional partners to synchronize initiatives.
• Participate in relevant medical congresses and offer insights.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for CPL field resources, including slide decks and publications.
• Complete necessary reports and assignments by specified deadlines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Master's degree, NP, CNS, PA, or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR PhD, DNP, or PharmD degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Clinical expertise in the therapeutic areas of Psychiatry or Neurology.
• Maintains professional licensure, including advanced practice licensure and certification in accordance with individual state regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to represent NBI in a professional manner at all times.
• Capable of adhering to fiscal and compliance guidelines.
• Knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline along with familiarity with related business disciplines.
• Developing a reputation within the company concerning the area of expertise.
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team and lead projects laterally.
• Possesses leadership skills and abilities.
• Strong computer skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Capable of meeting multiple deadlines across various projects/programs with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• The ideal candidate will reside in Ohio near a major airport and have recent experience in long-term care.
• Annual bonus with a target of 30% of earned base salary.
