This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives in clinical informatics to enhance the integration and optimization of EHR and various clinical systems.

• Work collaboratively with product, IT, and data teams to ensure clinical needs are incorporated into platform design and functionality.

• Collect and prioritize feedback from providers and clinical staff for system enhancements and improvements in user experience.

• Contribute to efforts in interoperability, including the assessment of data exchange standards, APIs, and vendor integrations.

• Configure and manage clinical applications, including Athenahealth and Elation.

• Provide tier-2 support for applications and escalate issues to vendors or IT as necessary.

• Engage in software upgrades, testing, and system validation processes.

• Assist in managing vendor relationships and maintaining service-level expectations.

• Create training materials, job aids, and tip sheets.

• Conduct training sessions and provide go-live support for providers, nurses, and operational staff.

• Document clinical workflows and keep system configuration records up to date.

• Support project timelines, testing plans, and implementation checklists.

• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics related to system usage and provider satisfaction.

• Participate in informatics and operations meetings to align with organizational goals and identify areas for improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Nursing, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 3–5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, clinical application support, or health IT.

• Practical experience in configuring and supporting EHR systems; familiarity with Athenahealth is highly advantageous.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, APIs).

• Outstanding communication and change management abilities, with a track record of translating clinical requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
