This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Engage in the planning, development, execution, education, and training for clinical systems that influence patient care.
• Assess and evaluate clinical practices and processes, recommending changes or solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical care.
• Assist in the implementation of clinical information systems for clients, offering immediate technical support when needed.
• Take part in the development of clinical information systems content and design, while researching best-practice standards.
• Conduct testing, evaluation, maintenance, and provide constructive feedback on clinical systems.
• Promote clinical transformation and aid staff in optimizing the use of information technology in care delivery.
• Foster communication and collaborative relationships with both clinical and non-clinical users of clinical systems.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in the use of installed information systems.
• Prioritize and address client support needs, develop response strategies, and ensure follow-up and evaluation are completed.
• Continuously refine systems and workflows as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• May be required to participate in an on-call rotation for critical applications and travel as necessary to support business needs.
• Graduation from an accredited clinical program is mandatory (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP).
• An associate degree or a bachelor's degree is required.
• A master's degree is preferred.
• Must be currently licensed as a clinician (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP) in South Carolina, or possess a current compact/multi-state license in a recognized compact state if not a permanent resident of South Carolina.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required.
• A comprehensive understanding of clinical processes and practices is essential.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Experience in executing ITIL-aligned service management processes, including Incident, Request, and Change Management.
• Familiarity with managing application support and documentation is necessary.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and word processing are required.
• Knowledge of electronic health records is beneficial.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
• Skills in clinical practice, collaboration/teamwork, leadership and professional development, and process improvement/systems thinking are necessary.
