Clinical Evaluator, AI Products – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the output from AI tools across Headway's patient and provider offerings for clinical precision, safety, and suitability.

• Utilize evaluation rubrics, refine them, and document clinical reasoning when these rubrics are insufficient.

• Engage in calibration sessions and inter-rater reliability discussions with fellow evaluators.

• Work in conjunction with the Clinical Product team to convert clinical insights into modifications for rubrics or outputs.

• Annotate datasets and evaluate new product use cases prior to their launch.

• Carry out review and feedback tasks within Headway's specified systems while complying with HIPAA and privacy/confidentiality regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a currently licensed therapist or professional counselor holding an independent, unrestricted license.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on therapy experience.

• Strong understanding of risk assessment, safety planning, and documentation standards.

• Capability to critically assess AI model outputs and deliver structured feedback.

• Proficient in articulating clinical reasoning clearly in written form.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous edge cases alongside peer evaluators.

• Adaptable to healthcare technology platforms and evolving workflows.

• Experience with AI chart reviews, quality audits, or clinical documentation standards is advantageous.

• Must establish or currently possess an LLC or S-Corp.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
