This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bolivia, +5 more countries.
β’ Assist a neurologist by providing precise and prompt clinical documentation and management of medical records.
β’ Evaluate, edit, and rectify physician notes along with AI-generated medical documents.
β’ Detect missing, inconsistent, duplicated, or erroneous details within medical records.
β’ Ensure patient information is maintained accurately and organized within the EHR.
β’ Review medical records and compile pertinent information for patient appointments and physician documentation.
β’ Oversee patient intake, scheduling, appointment coordination, and follow-up processes.
β’ Engage in professional communication with patients, healthcare professionals, attorneys, law firms, and other external entities.
β’ Prepare and manage referrals, medical records, and accompanying documentation.
β’ Dispatch authorized documentation to external parties and monitor outstanding requests.
β’ Follow up on missing records, incomplete information, referrals, and administrative needs.
β’ Utilize AI tools, EHR systems, Google Workspace, and various digital platforms effectively.
β’ Adhere to established templates, procedures, and physician-specific workflows.
β’ Resolve routine documentation and administrative challenges independently and escalate issues when clinical judgment is necessary.
β’ Uphold strict confidentiality and manage sensitive patient information appropriately.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience is preferred, particularly in medical scribing, clinical documentation, medical records, or related clinical support.
β’ A clinical background is strongly preferred: foreign-trained physician, RN, Senior Medical Scribe, Clinical Documentation Specialist, or a similar profile.
β’ Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation practices.
β’ Prior experience with U.S. healthcare providers, EHR systems, and U.S. medical documentation is highly preferred.
β’ Exceptional written English skills and the ability to produce accurate, professional medical documentation.
β’ Experience in reviewing, editing, and correcting clinical and medical notes.
β’ Capability to review and refine AI-generated medical documentation for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
β’ High proficiency with AI tools and technology, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems.
β’ Familiarity with Google Workspace for communication and documentation purposes.
β’ Strong attention to detail and a very high standard of accuracy.
β’ Ability to consistently follow detailed procedures, templates, and workflows.
β’ Capacity to independently identify and resolve routine documentation and administrative issues.
β’ Understanding of patient confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive medical information.
β’ Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a professional remote working environment are essential.
β’ Must be able to consistently work during Pacific Time business hours.
β’ Availability to work two weekends per month is required.
β’ Must be comfortable working 7 consecutive days twice a month.
