Senior Medical Writer – Promotional Medical Writing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary content liaison for designated accounts

• Create high-quality, medically accurate content in both print and digital formats for medical communication resources

• Ensure project delivery within set timelines

• Conduct literature reviews and create annotations that support promotional claims

• Engage proactively and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Uphold quality standards in line with scientific guidelines, good publication practices, and company policies

• Collaborate with account teams to enhance content based on strategic goals

• Communicate medical content effectively with internal teams and pharmaceutical clients

• Attend medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings as required

• Participate in project kick-off, status updates, client meetings, brainstorming sessions, and review meetings

• Contribute innovative ideas for new business proposals and tactical planning

• Provide mentorship to junior staff members

• Travel occasionally for client meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in life sciences

• BA/BS in English combined with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications firm, or healthcare advertising

• At least 3 years of experience in medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare sectors

• Proficient in American Medical Association (AMA) style

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

• Familiarity with scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High analytical capabilities

• Ability to prioritize projects with tight deadlines and manage competing client demands

• Detail-oriented and team-focused
