Senior Medical Writer – Medical Communications, Publications

📋 Description

• Provide expertise in research, writing, and editing for initiatives in medical communications.

• Create and deliver clear, factual, and high-quality scientific content to clients.

• Monitor and adhere to project budget and timeline specifications.

• Conduct thorough research in content areas and maintain expertise in designated therapeutic areas.

• Implement edits and feedback from stakeholders into deliverables.

• Research, compose, and revise content as needed.

• Create content outlines and drafts for various projects.

• Integrate relevant supporting research and data into final deliverables.

• Ensure accuracy in flow, grammar, and content for both original and edited works.

• Incorporate revisions and edits from clients and stakeholders.

• Meet project deadlines while remaining within scope and budget constraints.

• Identify areas that require expertise from other team members and solicit their input.

• Manage communications effectively with project stakeholders.

• Share information efficiently within internal project teams.

• Keep project teams and stakeholders updated on project progress.

• Escalate any obstacles or challenges that may impact timelines and budgets.

• Collaborate with and provide support to team members on project-related tasks.

• Adhere to Citrus Health Group's editorial, publication, and ethical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or MS) is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency is necessary.

• Familiarity with editorial and publication processes is required.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite is essential.

• Strong skills in scientific research are required.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team is necessary.

• Effective attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to specified writing styles are crucial.

• Capacity to identify key issues and creatively and strategically address challenges is important.

• A high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability is expected.

• Ability to think analytically and effectively plan, prioritize, and execute tasks is required.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
