Senior Medical Writer – Promotional Medical Writing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary content contact for designated accounts

• Create high-quality, medically accurate content in both print and digital formats for medical communication resources

• Complete projects within the set timelines

• Perform literature reviews and generate annotations that support promotional claims

• Engage proactively and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Ensure work quality aligns with scientific standards, good publication practices, and company policies

• Collaborate with account teams to enhance content based on strategic goals

• Convey medical content effectively to internal teams and pharmaceutical clients

• Participate in medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings as required

• Join internal team meetings, project kick-off sessions, status updates, client discussions, brainstorming sessions, and review meetings

• Provide input for new business proposals and tactical plans

• Guide and mentor junior-level staff

• Occasionally travel for client meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences

• Bachelor’s degree in English combined with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising

• At least 3 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry

• Proficient in American Medical Association (AMA) style

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

• Familiarity with scientific search engines, including PubMed and Google Scholar

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High analytical skills

• Ability to prioritize projects with tight deadlines and manage multiple client priorities

• Detail-oriented and team-focused
