This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize expert coding expertise in accordance with ICD‑10 guidelines to ensure the accuracy of diagnosis codes within medical record documentation.
• Assist the clinical care teams by conducting thorough pre-visit and post-encounter chart reviews.
• Examine MRA reports to identify unreported or unresolved medical conditions.
• Provide education to clinicians regarding best practices for HCC coding and documentation.
• Analyze system-generated reports to rectify or complete any missing information.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification.
• Over 3 years of experience in CMS-HCC risk adjustment or HCC coding.
• More than 3 years of experience in ICD‑10 coding.
• At least 1 year of experience with HEDIS/Stars.
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and pharmacology.
• Competence in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
