Clinical Data Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Serve as the lead data manager for one or multiple projects or assist the lead data manager.

• Oversee data management operations for individual studies that are limited in volume or complexity, with support from senior team members.

• Act as a liaison between departments and clients for data management activities related to studies.

• Implement project protocol elements in daily tasks and guide others in their execution.

• Collaborate with Project Leads and clients, ensuring communication of data management activities to management.

• Create and uphold documentation files related to data management projects.

• Conduct independent reviews of data management deliverables in accordance with established CDM guidelines.

• Design and present study-specific training sessions for data management project personnel.

• Generate project-specific status reports and track study metrics.

• Support bid preparations and participate in bid defense meetings as needed.

• Assist in project forecasting, resource planning, identifying out-of-scope activities, and managing contract modifications.

• Mentor junior staff on tasks related to studies.

• Aid in the administrative and financial oversight of assigned projects.

• Execute assigned data management tasks independently and efficiently while maintaining a focus on quality.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the role.

• An equivalent combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may also be considered.

• Capability to apply knowledge and skills while complying with regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and client expectations.

• Proficiency in using interactive computer programs.

• Excellent command of the English language and grammar.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality concerning clinical and proprietary client data.

• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.

• Adaptability and flexibility.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Competence in training and guiding study teams.

• Ability to establish and meet timelines while adjusting schedules to meet project demands.
