This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.
• Oversee clinical market development for Procalcitonin (PCT) and other cutting-edge biomarkers.
• Enhance awareness, acceptance, and sustainable integration of biomarkers through engagement with healthcare professionals, clinical education, and development initiatives.
• Assist in the diagnosis and management of bacterial infections and sepsis.
• Contribute to initiatives for antimicrobial stewardship and biomarker-driven clinical decision-making.
• Direct clinical account development within hospitals and healthcare organizations.
• Cultivate relationships with clinicians, laboratory specialists, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Identify clinical goals and challenges, translating insights into focused educational and development activities.
• Aid in the implementation of biomarker-guided clinical pathways, hospital protocols, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Provide clinical education through engaging discussions, presentations, and workshops.
• Evaluate and prioritize accounts, pinpoint stakeholders, and devise account-specific strategies.
• Formulate account strategies in collaboration with leading IVD suppliers and support joint customer initiatives.
• Serve as a scientific and clinical collaborator, propelling market development.
• Work in conjunction with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other Commercial teams.
• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at relevant events and scientific conferences.
• Contribute to territory expansion through clinical adoption and systematic account development.
• Maintain comprehensive and current account and activity data in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in engaging clinical users and healthcare decision-makers.
• Ability to comprehend and convey scientific and clinical information effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently within a cross-functional matrix organization.
• Proficient in CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory (>50%).
• Fluent English communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian is advantageous.
• Experience in in vitro diagnostics, biomarkers, Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Emergency Medicine, sepsis, or Antimicrobial Stewardship is a plus.
• An advanced scientific or clinical degree is an advantage.
