Clinical Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver engineering, sales, educational, and technical assistance for Abbott EP products.

• Offer clinical and technical support within hospital environments for the management of cardiac arrhythmias.

• Provide regional coverage for EP procedural cases in electrophysiology laboratories and/or operating rooms.

• Serve as a clinical liaison between the healthcare community and the business.

• Establish and maintain trustworthy clinical relationships with clients.

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of EP products, including technical specifications, software usage, and functionalities.

• Ensure the safe and effective application of cardiac mapping, diagnostic, and therapy systems.

• Collaborate with EP Sales Representatives.

• Organize regional training seminars.

• Engage in clinical studies and data collection initiatives.

• Address and resolve product and procedural challenges.

• Lead or assist in new product training sessions and demonstrations.

• Continuously enhance engineering, sales, and technical expertise.

• Keep abreast of industry advancements, regulatory standards, company and competitor offerings, market trends, and strategic objectives.

• Provide management with insights on market trends and customer feedback.

• Occasionally travel for in-person training and live procedure coverage.

• Monitor performance metrics and report status updates to the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

• Confirmation of compliance with all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.

• Capability to deliver clinical and technical support in hospital, electrophysiology lab, and/or operating room environments.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Possession of a valid driver's license to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck.

• Ability to meet medical surveillance criteria.
