
Clinical Account Executive, Specialty – Health Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with clinic representatives through a client-focused sales strategy.
• Manage prescription referrals and prior authorizations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management leadership to assess progress, provide account updates, and align clinical support with business goals.
• Utilize electronic medical record tools to pinpoint opportunities for optimizing specialty medication referrals.
• Address clinic-related challenges and coordinate with support teams to deliver timely solutions.
• Act as a liaison among medical personnel, pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients.
• Monitor accounts needing clinical intervention or oversight and track their progress.
• Assist pharmacist workflows with clinical insights or workflow support once routine tasks are completed.
• Employ the CRM system to research contacts, track account activities, and maintain comprehensive records.
• Assess the financial performance of claims and referrals to decide whether to maintain or triage prescriptions.
• Utilize the Lumicera Prescriber Portal for communication and training with accounts, prescribers, and staff.
• Maintain compliance objectives and adhere to federal and state regulations.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Arrange minimal travel for account management purposes as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a Pharm D is required.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence, or the ability to obtain reciprocity within four months.
• A minimum of two years in specialty pharmacy or a clinical account management role within the healthcare sector.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles and clinical oversight.
• Commitment to participating in, adhering to, and supporting compliance program objectives.
• Capability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
• Must reside in an eligible US state; remote work is not available for residents of Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
