Clinical Account Executive – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Construct and execute business plans for the territory that align with brand objectives and overall business targets.

• Formulate detailed strategic business plans featuring measurable goals and actionable strategies.

• Manage resources judiciously while upholding sound operational principles and high ethical standards.

• Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets.

• Deliver approved disease-state and product information to customers in accordance with AbbVie Promotional Policy.

• Utilize sales analytics and customer insights to devise strategic plans.

• Implement sales and marketing initiatives within the territory in collaboration with cross-functional partners and authorized resources.

• Stay informed about the evolving marketplace, changes within the territory, disease states, and product offerings.

• Collaborate with territory partners and external stakeholders.

• Create and implement call plans to meet call metrics and enhance coverage and frequency for key customers.

• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.

• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• Over 6 years of experience in oncology sales, including solid tumors, is preferred.

• Experience in hospital sales or strong account management is considered.

• Buy-and-Bill experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated history of surpassing sales expectations.

• Outstanding communication skills, both clear and effective.

• Consultative selling approach.

• Competitive sales abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to pass AbbVie's background check and any additional institutional or health-facility screenings as required.

• Compliance with immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, and drug-screening requirements where applicable.

• Willingness to travel for business by air or car regularly.

• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe-driving standards.
