
Clinical Account Executive – Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma business within the designated territory.
• Create and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with the brand strategy and meets local customer needs.
• Foster trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-oriented interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to provide a seamless customer experience.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Fulfill mandatory training requirements and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharma/biotech sector.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential; experience with Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and determination with a history of success in challenging situations.
• Access to a personal auto or company vehicle.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving standards.
• Capable of meeting healthcare industry representative credentialing standards, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations/vaccinations.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management is preferred.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
