Client Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct basic claim scrubs

• Enter data into insurance portals

• Execute both preliminary and detailed (code specific) insurance verifications

• Prepare documentation for prior authorization submissions

• Monitor claim status according to client partners’ requirements

• Dispatch paper claims

• Investigate and report on claim denials

• Make follow-up phone calls to insurance companies to manage accounts receivables

• Generate monthly reports as directed by client partners

• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members

• Assume additional responsibilities as professional development and training are completed

• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Leadership Team as required

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory

• At least 1-2 years of previous medical office experience is essential

• Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that complies with Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures

• Attention to detail is crucial

• Professional verbal and written communication capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining productivity

• Proficient computer skills are required

• Knowledge of Orthotics and Prosthetics is preferred

• Demonstrate integrity in all situations, being honest, transparent, and respectful in every relationship

• Keep the patient at the forefront of all activities, fostering lifelong trust
