This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Assist the Business Development team with client accounts during both the pre-award and post-award phases.
• Facilitate daily client communication and coordination.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements and enhance the overall client experience.
• Draft business agreements, project estimates, quotations, and statements of work.
• Analyze and interpret study protocols to create business documents, project workflow timelines, and budgets in conjunction with Project Coordinators, Principal Investigators, and the Laboratory Director.
• Oversee account and project information utilizing customer relationship and project management processes, as well as the CRM system.
• Transition clients from Business Development to scientific operations upon the awarding of business.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Project Coordinators on new business requirements, changes in scope, and requests for new studies.
• Evaluate laboratory services and confidentiality agreements.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and video conferencing as necessary.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or business, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical development industry, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and the pharmaceutical/biotechnology marketplace.
• Proficient in CRM and project management software applications, including Constant Contact and Salesforce.
• Competent in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Skills in critical thinking, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to cultivate robust relationships with internal clients.
• Familiarity with the operational aspects of a CRO is preferred.
• Experience in life sciences or preclinical/clinical research is preferred.
• Background in successful proposal and program coordination, client support, or marketing is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
• Ability to sit and work in front of a computer for more than 2/3 of the time.
• Proficiency in using a telephone for up to 2/3 of the time.
• Ability to talk or hear for over 2/3 of the time.
