This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the intermediary between clients/brokers and Allied Executives and Departments related to the benefit plan.
• Timely convey client complaints to the appropriate departments, including Claims, Eligibility, and Account Management.
• Serve as an additional support resource for Account Managers as required.
• Communicate with clients and brokers about the resolution of claim issues, reporting, and information related to the industry and legislation.
• Follow up on month-end strategies by resolving outstanding claim issues.
• Analyze, identify, and enhance internal processes in collaboration with various Allied departments.
• Collaborate and build relationships with other internal teams, such as Claims and Eligibility.
• Assist in the renewal of existing cases through the management of claim reviews and service level expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Medical Claims is necessary.
• Experience in claim processing is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with RIMS Claim Processing System is required.
• Familiarity with Web-Based Applications is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
