Client Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee client implementations along with related delivery tasks in accordance with PMO standards.

• Develop and manage project plans that encompass scope, milestones, workstreams, dependencies, owners, timelines, and acceptance criteria from initiation to launch.

• Handle scope management, detect potential changes, and direct them through change control processes.

• Maintain project plans, status updates, decision logs, issue trackers, risk registers, and necessary delivery artifacts.

• Offer transparency into project health, milestones, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies, and support requirements from leadership.

• Conduct status meetings, stakeholder evaluations, decision forums, risk assessments, and readiness checkpoints.

• Document suggested changes, evaluate their impacts, and manage the approval process.

• Address or escalate risks, decisions, resource limitations, timeline effects, and delivery obstacles.

• Collaborate with clients and internal subject matter experts to collect and document business, solution design, technical, and operational requirements.

• Coordinate resource planning and manage competing priorities across internal teams.

• Oversee launch readiness, provide testing support, triage defects and issues, prepare operationally, obtain client approvals, and gather go/no-go feedback.

• Facilitate the transition from implementation to operations and address post-launch monitoring requirements.

• Work in partnership with Account Management, Customer Operations, Product, Engineering, Data, Support, Sales, and Business Development teams.

• Adhere to PMO processes, templates, documentation standards, reporting schedules, governance milestones, and delivery criteria.

• Identify areas for enhancing implementation delivery, operational transitions, project controls, documentation practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Safeguard sensitive and confidential information, including PHI/ePHI when applicable, ensuring compliance with security policies, laws, regulations, contracts, and training obligations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in project management, implementation management, client/vendor management, consulting, SaaS implementation, or client-facing delivery, ideally within healthcare or similar data-sensitive environments.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multi-phase projects involving parallel, interdependent workstreams with defined scope, structured governance, documented risks, and measurable delivery milestones.

• Proven experience in managing multiple active projects that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies.

• Proficient in applying project controls such as scope management, change control, resource planning, risk and issue management, escalation processes, launch readiness, and implementation-to-operations transitions.

• Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions, with the ability to interpret requirements, convey progress, manage expectations, and facilitate stakeholder decisions.

• Familiarity with integrated systems, SaaS/PaaS environments, APIs, data integrations, and reporting concepts.

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, technical documentation, business analytics, issue triage, and user acceptance testing is preferred.

• Proven ability to work with ownership, organization, collaboration, sound judgment, and adherence to established standards.
