Client Money Controls Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise and actively assess Client & Insurer Money controls within the risk management framework and the online risk event portal.

• Organize quarterly control attestation processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Assist in the implementation of new controls and upgrades to existing control processes.

• Maintain the CASS Risk Assessment, ensuring that risks are identified, documented, and connected to effective controls.

• Generate monthly reports on client money, management information, and analytics.

• Keep the central breach register up to date and monitor CASS 5 and CASS 8 breaches.

• Foster relationships with senior stakeholders, operational teams, and external auditors.

• Recognize control deficiencies, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Aid in ensuring compliance with FCA Client Asset Sourcebook requirements and internal governance standards.

• Collaborate with Operations, Risk & Compliance, Finance, and Client Money Audit teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficient analytical and investigative problem-solving skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Familiarity with CASS regulations, specifically CASS 5 and CASS 8.

• Experience in a regulated financial services setting.

• Previous background within the insurance sector.

• Exposure to risk management, controls, audit, compliance, or client money functions.

• Successful completion of relevant employment, address, credit history, and standard criminal record checks prior to employment.
