This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive financial management and forecasting for the client portfolio.

• Supervise the monthly project accounting activities and lead the monthly status meetings with project managers.

• Manage the onboarding of new contract engagements and evaluate contracts/projects for precise setup.

• Provide guidance to the Client Finance team regarding project tracking, budgets, and funds.

• Report and present financial details of projects to project leads and stakeholders.

• Handle the setup of new clients, review MSAs for rebates and discounts, and collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams.

• Manage the execution of intercompany contracts, cost allocations, project budgets, and scope modifications.

• Ensure compliance of project revenue with client contracts and proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP.

• Prepare monthly revenue forecasts and compare outcomes with budget/plan.

• Manage project hours, expenses, invoicing, accruals, unbilled revenue aging, and overdue accounts receivable.

• Review subcontractor expenses, agreements, and forecasts.

• Review general ledger reconciliations, expense reports, invoices, and credit card transactions.

• Assist with annual budgeting, ad hoc projects, and variance analysis for business development.

• Manage audit timelines, communications, supporting documents, and schedules.

• Enhance processes, policies, and procedures to promote cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages for executive management.

• Advise staff on best practices in client finance and non-routine transactions.

• Manage and mentor direct reports and junior staff to foster career development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on accounting, finance, or business.

• 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, including 2–3 years in a supervisory position.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in an agency or professional services environment is advantageous.

• Experience with month-end closing processes.

• Knowledge of revenue recognition practices.

• Experience in project accounting.

• Client services or client-facing experience.
