This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Support the Client Executive and/or Client Manager in managing clients’ employee benefits programs and daily account services.
• Create materials for client meetings, which include agendas, reports, and presentations.
• Handle BORs, update internal systems and client portals, and generate invoices.
• Assist in 5500 filings, audits, benchmarking, experience and financial analytic reports, and other client-service data.
• Provide support during open enrollment by preparing communication materials, and facilitating onsite and virtual meetings, as well as health fairs.
• Aid in resolving client and employee concerns, such as billing discrepancies and claims issues.
• Foster relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workflow alongside the Client Executive and/or Client Manager.
• Maintain workflow logs and update benefits information in agency management systems, manuals, documentation, and records.
• Keep up to date with industry information, products, programs, coverages, legislation, and technology.
• Represent a professional image through actions and appearance.
• General understanding of Employee Benefits coverages and services.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail along with effective time management skills.
• Excellent multitasking abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and with minimal supervision.
• Capability to function well in a team setting as well as autonomously.
• Good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• A high school diploma is required.
• Preferably two or more years of experience in a benefits consulting or brokerage firm, or relevant experience with an insurance carrier or TPA.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing tasks and demands.
• High level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations effectively.
• Washington Life, Disability (health), Travel license preferred, or willingness to acquire within 60 days of hire.
• A valid driver's license is required.
