Claims Representative – Liability, GL, PD, BI, PL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate general liability, product liability, property damage, and bodily injury claims on behalf of clients to ascertain the benefits owed.

• Ensure the continuous adjudication of claims aligns with service expectations, industry best practices, and client service standards.

• Analyze and manage claims through actionable plans to achieve appropriate and timely resolutions.

• Investigate and collect information to assess claim exposure.

• Negotiate settlements for claims within the authorized limits.

• Communicate updates regarding claims processing and activities with claimants and clients.

• Report claims to the excess carrier.

• Respond to requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Licensing in the home state is mandatory.

• Familiarity with the jurisdictions of all states.

• Ability to think clearly and conceptually.

• Strong judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical skills, and discretion.

• Capability to manage work-related stress.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Capacity to meet deadlines.

• Proficient keyboarding skills.

• Abilities in hearing, vision, and communication.
