This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Focus on managing large clients within the mid-market segment across all client categories.
• Uphold claims service delivery standards by following Group Procedures, the Claims Operational Procedures Manual, and the Acturis Best Practice Guide.
• Analyze client claims and incident data to assist with claims defensibility and risk management.
• Monitor industry trends and proactively advise clients on preventative strategies.
• Organize and oversee regular client claims review meetings.
• Attend claims review meetings fully prepared and present accurate, up-to-date claims management information.
• Support Account Executives and broking teams during renewal, new business, and prospect meetings, whether in person or virtually as needed.
• Serve as a technical referral point for Account Executives and broking teams.
• Generate claims information and reports for client renewals and claims reviews within established deadlines.
• Collaborate with broking and new business teams to deliver high-quality claims data, aiding in client retention and new business acquisition.
• Accurately record claims details in the relevant PAS system.
• Proactively manage claims and quickly escalate complaints, conflicts of interest, and Errors & Omissions in accordance with Group policies and procedures.
• Act as a key claims-management liaison by coordinating with clients, colleagues, TPAs, insurers, and legal counsel.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of all general insurance classes.
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and interpreting insurance policy wordings, as well as explaining coverage to clients and colleagues.
• Confidence in challenging insurers regarding policy interpretation and its application to claims.
• Ability to present and conduct face-to-face client reviews effectively.
• Capability to analyze claims data, identify trends, and advise clients on claims performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a diverse, multi-site Claims function.
• Professional management of expectations.
• Ability to liaise with internal and external legal counsel and interpret their advice for clients.
• Solid understanding of business processes and performance drivers.
• In-depth knowledge of internal and external Claims functions, company performance, market intelligence, and business drivers.
• Proficient stakeholder management skills.
• Strong skills in negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing, presentation, and communication.
