Claims Crop Field Adjuster I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate pertinent information to assess liability in accordance with established procedures.

• Review relevant claims coverage and ascertain if losses are included within the scope of policy coverage.

• Engage in reviews and referrals initiated by the Risk Management Agency to ensure operational integrity and quality assurance.

• Safeguard claims information to uphold Zurich’s reputation.

• Enhance professional and technical expertise through educational opportunities, industry developments, personal networks, and professional organizations.

• Collaborate with RCIS agents to provide crop insurance support for farmers and ranchers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 6 months of experience in the agricultural sector for Claims Crop Field Adjuster I.

• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be acquired within 180 days of the hire date.

• Dependable personal transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

• Capability to walk in agricultural fields for distances up to 3 miles.

• Ability to climb agricultural storage bins reaching heights of up to 25 feet.

• Skill to lift weights ranging from 25 lbs to 50 lbs.

• Capacity to work outdoors in diverse temperatures and weather conditions.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.

• Employment sponsorship is not available.

• Alternatively, a High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance field is required for Crop Claims Specialist.

• Personal transportation and readiness to travel within the designated territory and beyond as necessary for the Crop Claims Specialist role.
