Claims Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Claims Manager

• Support claims operations while gaining experience in processing assigned claims from initiation to coverage decision

• Engage with all stakeholders throughout the claims process

• Review, assess, and adjudicate claims in alignment with contract terms and company policies

• Audit parts and labor submissions for accuracy, reasonableness, and adherence to repair standards

• Document claim files with comprehensive and defensible notes

• Organize and manage claim workloads to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items

• Convey claim decisions to dealers, service providers, and customers

• Facilitate servicer setup documentation, including the collection and validation of W9 forms

• Utilize technical knowledge of multi-line powersports units to assess repair scope and validity

• Detect discrepancies in repair orders, parts usage, and labor durations

• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee consistent application of policies

• Contribute suggestions for enhancing existing procedures and systems

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience as a multi-line powersports service advisor or warranty administrator (strongly preferred)

• Proven proficiency in auditing parts and labor

• Familiarity with powersports repair diagnostics and maintenance practices

• Exceptional documentation abilities

• Experience with claims or contract management systems

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to independently manage claim workflows with minimal oversight

• Strong organizational skills and accountability in tracking the claim lifecycle

• Willingness to occasionally participate in business-related meetings and events outside regular business hours
