Claim Specialist – Auto Injury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Review and assess injury claims to establish coverage, liability, and damages.

• Conduct comprehensive investigations by collecting pertinent information, interviewing involved parties, and examining supporting documents.

• Analyze medical records, police reports, and related documents to evaluate injuries and determine liability.

• Negotiate settlements with claimants while adhering to policy limits.

• Document claim activities, ensure accurate record-keeping, and prepare detailed reports.

• Collaborate with legal, medical, and risk assessment teams.

• Manage bodily injury, uninsured/underinsured, and property damage claims that involve injuries.

• Handle lawsuits and/or demands in coordination with attorneys.

• Provide Remarkable® service and assist customers throughout the claims process.

• Candidates must live within 50 miles of New Albany, OH.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven empathy and de-escalation abilities.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks across various technical platforms.

• Accountability and resourcefulness are essential.

• Must successfully complete all required training.

• Must pass applicable proficiency and licensing examinations.
