• Conduct comprehensive reviews of engineering tasks from start to finish, encompassing problem statements, structural and geotechnical models, load scenarios, simulation data, computational environments, reference solutions, and automated testing.
• Validate tasks that encompass structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), earthquake and wind engineering, structural dynamics, geotechnical modeling, hydraulics, hydrology, transportation, and infrastructure systems.
• Ensure that tasks necessitate significant, multi-step engineering reasoning and accurately represent real-world workflows in civil and structural engineering.
• Confirm technical accuracy across various units, equilibrium, boundary conditions, load combinations, design codes, numerical stability, convergence, and safety factors.
• Validate computational models, solvers, dependencies, and simulation results for precision and reproducibility.
• Review automated graders to ensure they evaluate meaningful engineering outputs, including forces, deflections, drifts, settlements, safety factors, flow rates, and structural performance.
• Identify erroneous assumptions, technical mistakes, inappropriate tolerances, and chances to bypass genuine engineering analysis.
• Provide actionable technical feedback and monitor task revisions until completion.
• Mentor and assist 5–10 trainers, distribute work, oversee quality and productivity, and resolve technical challenges.
• Establish and uphold quality standards, technical documentation, and best practices throughout task development.
• PhD, postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical expertise in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, C/C++, Julia, Fortran, or MATLAB/Octave.
• Experience working in Linux and command-line environments.
• Practical expertise in at least one major area, such as structural analysis, FEA, earthquake engineering, geotechnical modeling, or hydraulic/hydrological modeling.
• Strong grasp of engineering principles, numerical methods, simulation workflows, and validation of computational models.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering design standards, including ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, or IS codes.
• Experience in reviewing complex technical projects, engineering simulations, research outputs, or computational models.
• Strong analytical judgment and the capability to identify engineering inaccuracies, edge cases, and flawed assumptions.
• Experience in mentoring, reviewing, or leading small technical teams.
• Exceptional written communication skills for providing technical feedback and documentation.
• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
• Opportunities for professional development and further education.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment.
