Civil Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in design evaluations from initial concept to Issued for Construction (IFC).

• Conduct quality assurance oversight and generate QA reports.

• Carry out onsite QA inspections during construction and detect potential issues.

• Aid in the creation of scopes of work (SOW) for potential construction alterations.

• Perform initial assessments of construction contractor claims.

• Analyze contractor cost proposals and change orders.

• Offer subject matter expertise to the owner in support of a nationwide design and construction initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.

• Current or recent security clearance is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel.

• Experience in designing civil site improvements.

• Practical field experience ensuring adherence to plans and specifications for federal projects.
