This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise all engineering operations related to land preparation for data center construction.

• Ensure land suitability and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Coordinate the installation and integration of solar energy, water supply, and fiber optics utilities.

• Guarantee that utilities are delivered punctually and within budgetary constraints.

• Manage various projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.

• Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams and departments.

• Negotiate and secure long-term agreements for water sourcing and supply.

• Assess water rights, capacity availability, and necessary infrastructure.

• Conduct due diligence on potential land acquisitions and development sites.

• Evaluate zoning regulations, environmental restrictions, geotechnical conditions, utility access, and permitting requirements.

• Generate reports and recommendations to support project-related decisions.

• Travel up to 50% of the time.

• Carry out other job-related tasks as assigned by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field).

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Demonstrated experience in land development and utility coordination for large-scale projects.

• Extensive knowledge of renewable energy systems, particularly solar energy.

• Experience with data center infrastructure and utility needs.

• Exceptional project management abilities with a proven record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

• An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is preferred.
