Child Psychologist – NY License, Full Time or Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations that adhere to evidence-based practices.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions for patients utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.

• Engage in collaborative meetings with the care team.

• Establish cooperative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health service providers.

• Assess the quality of services and monitor the progress of referred patients.

• Complete all necessary documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans, in a timely manner.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the team to address challenges in treatment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a NY Medicaid Provider Number is essential.

• A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA) is required.

• Must maintain licensure and pursue professional development as mandated by the licensing board.
