Child Psychologist – NY License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver extensive behavioral health treatment for prevalent primary-care issues such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders.

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations.

• Offer individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Engage in collaborative care team discussions.

• Establish relationships and referral agreements with local mental health service providers.

• Assess service quality and monitor patient progress.

• Complete biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation of implementation.

• Work alongside patients, families, and care teams to address and navigate treatment challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA).

• Must hold a NY Medicaid Provider Number.

• Keep licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Competence in performing psychosocial evaluations utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Ability to deliver individual, family, and group therapy employing evidence-based treatment methods.

• Proficiency in completing biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning documentation.
