Chief Technology Officer – Digital Applications

📋 Description

• Articulate and implement the technical vision and strategy for the Digital Business Line.

• Propel the transformation agenda forward.

• Align client requirements with business goals and technology execution.

• Shape and execute the transformation vision by integrating product lifecycle management and AI into the operational framework.

• Coordinate implementation efforts with Global Business Line and regional technology teams.

• Lead the transition of engineering delivery from traditional SDLC to a product/service-oriented capability model.

• Serve as a senior technical advisor to key strategic clients.

• Establish the Business Line as a frontrunner in AI-enhanced SDLC services.

• Offer technical guidance across bids and proposals.

• Collaborate with presales solution teams to bolster business development and incorporate new service offerings.

• Define and uphold the enterprise technology strategy for SDLC and AI platforms.

• Set architectural standards and governance for security, scalability, and uniformity.

• Assess emerging technologies and trends, providing strategic insights.

• Lead and cultivate high-performing engineering teams and technical functions.

• Advocate for technical excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Oversee technical delivery across significant programmes.

• Manage gated approval processes throughout solution design, implementation, and deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of AI and its role in transforming SDLC practices.

• Expert comprehension of product lifecycle management and full-stack engineering.

• Capability to influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business line leaders.

• Eligibility for, or possession of, UK Security Clearance (SC).

• Candidates must have the eligibility to acquire and maintain SC clearance.

• Experience representing organizations at industry events, roundtables, and forums, contributing to thought leadership.

• Ability to work collaboratively with partners, suppliers, and subject matter experts to foster innovation and growth.

• Proven track record in driving innovation through emerging technologies.

• Located in the UK.
