This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive technical innovation and transformation in alignment with client business objectives and corporate goals.
• Provide insights from clients and the industry to Ensono’s internal teams to guide product and technology roadmaps.
• Assist Sales, Consulting, Operations, and Service Management teams in serving strategic clients.
• Develop reference architecture frameworks and templates in collaboration with clients’ business and technical teams.
• Lead long-term transformation projects within client environments.
• Support account teams in identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic business development opportunities while fostering additional business growth.
• Cultivate relationships at the executive level, prioritizing client satisfaction.
• Inform clients of emerging technologies pertinent to their infrastructure needs.
• Analyze client business opportunities, changes, and challenges to shape both short- and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Examine technology landscapes to pinpoint gaps, impacts, and technical debt; propose solutions aimed at cost efficiency, operational improvements, and sustainability.
• Advocate for and promote the adoption of reference architectures, technology design patterns, and solution principles.
• Design comprehensive solutions across mainframe, open systems, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, and Dell.
• Collaborate with Sales and Consulting teams to develop pursuit, solution, and sales strategies.
• Facilitate discovery and assessment workshops.
• Create and document technical and business solutions focused on transformation and platform reconfiguration.
• Organize solution development sessions and present technical solutions and business cases.
• Secure executive approval for complex solutions through discussions with senior technology leaders.
• Act as a trusted advisor by delivering consulting services and recommendations.
• Work with Product Management on product enhancements and adjustments to the technology roadmap.
• Promote stability and innovation across clients’ existing and future environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Relevant major industry accreditations or certifications.
• Over 15 years of experience as an architect in the hosting and network domain, either in a consulting capacity or with a managed service provider.
• Extensive consulting or managed services experience in hosting, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Proven experience with large enterprise clients and complex, multi-year projects.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into a technology strategy.
• Experience in managing projects through their entire lifecycle, including multi-phase, multi-dimensional, and multi-resource projects.
• In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure, as well as hybrid solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of full-stack hosting components: compute, storage, networking, security, disaster recovery, and DevOps.
• Strong grasp of the enterprise sales process, particularly regarding Infrastructure-as-a-Service (ITO) agreements.
• Resourceful and confident in managing crises and expectations while working under pressure.
• Proficient technical documentation skills.
• Ability to disseminate knowledge across the organization and encourage teamwork.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment while exhibiting strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
• Possess executive presence and the ability to communicate fluently with C-suite and senior technical leaders.
• Proven capacity to influence complex decisions through effective storytelling and business case development.
• Comfort in presenting to a variety of audiences, including business leaders, IT teams, and boards of directors.
• Willingness to travel to Ensono locations and client sites, estimated at 25% of weeks, with potential for additional travel during the first year.
