Chief Financial Officer – CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the senior financial leader of the company and a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team.

• Formulate and oversee Taekus' financial strategy as the organization expands.

• Manage advanced financial models that encompass banking, payments, credit cards, rewards, travel, and new revenue opportunities.

• Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-term financial planning.

• Provide guidance to management on growth strategies, pricing, product investments, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives.

• Utilize practical knowledge of banking financial statements, balance sheets, liquidity, capital, and banking economics.

• Collaborate with banking and regulatory stakeholders to establish the necessary financial infrastructure and reporting systems.

• Assist in optimizing the economics of deposits, payments, interchange, credit, rewards, and other financial products.

• Supervise accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and financial controls.

• Develop a scalable finance organization and infrastructure.

• Implement financial controls, processes, policies, and reporting schedules.

• Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and useful for decision-making.

• Work in close collaboration with the CEO, leadership team, founders, and executive team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a CFO role, with substantial time spent in the CFO position.

• Prior experience as a CFO at a bank or similar regulated financial institution is essential.

• In-depth knowledge of banking and financial institution economics.

• Extensive experience in financial planning, forecasting, accounting, treasury, capital management, and financial controls.

• Proven track record of working directly with boards, investors, auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.

• Strong comprehension of fintech, payments, banking, credit cards, or related financial services.

• Experience in consumer banking or credit cards is particularly advantageous.

• Background in a fintech, bank-fintech partnership, or technology-enabled financial institution is especially beneficial.

• Experience managing a financial organization through substantial growth or institutional fundraising is highly valuable.

• Must indicate if visa sponsorship is required for employment in the United States.
