Chief Data Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Conduct audits on the methods of data capture, storage, and reporting throughout all five companies.

• Collaborate with the Data Architect to design and implement a Group data warehouse utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Integrate various data sources, including HubSpot, HiBob, and Microsoft Dynamics.

• Develop data governance standards and establish Group-wide KPI definitions.

• Provide automated Power BI reporting solutions for each individual company and the Group as a whole.

• Lead a team of four, comprising three current analysts and a Data Architect to be recruited.

• Gradually shift the focus from building data foundations to leveraging data for strategic purposes.

• Assist organizational leaders in identifying opportunities and challenges through reliable data.

• Proven experience in establishing a data function from the ground up.

• Background working across multiple businesses, entities, or units.

• Practical experience in data governance, including the development and implementation of metric definitions.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to oversee and approve architectural decisions.

• Exceptional influence and change management capabilities.

• Comfortable leading in a fully remote and distributed organization.

• Bonus: Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

• Bonus: Experience in ecommerce, fintech, or BPO sectors.
