This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist members, healthcare providers, and pharmacies with pharmacy-related inquiries, benefit questions, prior authorization requests, and claims-related matters.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to pharmacy claims, eligibility, coverage, and medication.

• Review, document, and process pharmacy transactions and requests in accordance with client, regulatory, and operational guidelines.

• Utilize multiple systems and resources to address issues, provide solutions, and ensure thorough documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external partners.

• Support pharmacy operations across a variety of programs and clients.

• Engage in training and professional development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration with a State Board of Pharmacy, where applicable.

• Experience in pharmacy operations support, prior authorizations, pharmacy claims, PBM services, managed care programs, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare customer service is preferred.

• Strong skills in customer service, communication, and problem-solving.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

• Proficient in using pharmacy systems, multiple computer applications, and documentation tools.

• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
