Certified Medical Assistant – Remote Patient Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist patients in navigating Medsien's remote patient monitoring programs, ensuring they effectively adopt and utilize the equipment.

• Carefully record patient information, enrollment details, and eligibility assessments in Electronic Health Records (EHRs) or other designated systems.

• Track the progress of enrollment applications and maintain communication with patients.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the enrollment process.

• Inform patients about the healthcare programs provided by Medsien.

• Comply with HIPAA and other privacy regulations while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, social workers, and additional parties to ensure smooth enrollment.

• Maintain regular monthly contact with assigned patients to foster trusted care relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally recognized institution (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, NAHP, etc.).

• Possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses to accurately evaluate patient eligibility.

• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex information.

• Show demonstrated empathy and compassion in interactions with patients.

• Maintain keen attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of enrollment applications and documentation.

• Possess effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple patient enrollments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Have familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and demonstrate computer proficiency.

• Show the ability to rapidly learn new software applications.

• Uphold professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct when managing sensitive patient information.

• Be capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability.
